The Duel consists of 180 paintings of varied decorative but everyday porcelain objects, found or sought out by the artista. These cups, vases, teapot and assorted ornament, plucked from obscurity, became the attention of Guilisasti´s focus. In
Exchange, they relieve the artista from any concerns other than consideration of the single pure object. The duel here exist between the objets and the viewer, between a life unobserved and  the subject´s attention.

The instalation  is an anthology of particular types of object, and
of a process, almost ritulistic, of collection, observation, illustration, and intallation, one by one, over time.
The notion of still life as a quaint and outmoded form is turned on its head by the sheer scale and depth of the accumulated consequence of that process. The resulting monument is a documento f the seemingly eternal duel between the artista and the object.
